About Daniel Moss

Born and raised in Malibu, Daniel Moss grew up learning from one of the best in the business, his father, Bill Moss. Since 2013, Daniel has been serving his hometown and its surrounding neighborhoods and recently purchased a home in the Malibu mountains. In the past 12 months, Daniel has made more than $75 million in sales.

A successful and competitive tennis player like Bill, Daniel had the opportunity to attend just about any college in the country on scholarship but chose Pepperdine University because he felt Malibu was such a unique and special community. Nowhere else will you get the perfect combination of small-town living and world-class luxury. 

Since Daniel’s family has deep roots in the community (the Moss family has resided here since the late ‘50s), he is an area expert with in-depth insight into all the neighborhoods. Daniel loves educating his clients on what each part of Malibu offers and how to navigate through the specific details needed to know when buying here.

Because the city is in the Coastal Commission, there are property restrictions regarding water, septic systems, geography, and requirements mandated by the fire department all homeowners should be aware of before purchasing. Daniel received his degree in Public Relations from Pepperdine, which became a significant asset to his career as a realtor. When working with clients, you have to find creative ways to market each property and employ a strategy that will appeal to even the most discerning of buyers.

Daniel frequents the Malibu Racquet Club. They have met many of their clients there. Daniel played at Pepperdine during his time there and made it into the final four at the NCAA tournament his senior year. He remains very involved with the team and players.
